Functional Overview

Phantom is a privacy-first, federated AI extension primarily residing on the user's browser (e.g., extension, desktop). It acts as the user's personal interface to the Blankstate ecosystem during their daily work.

It provides immediate feedback and guidance for each interaction (as defined by Protocols) in real-time, without storing sensitive content centrally, ensuring user privacy.

Technical Overview

Local Processing & Privacy

Runs primarily on the user's device (browser extension/desktop agent), minimizing data transmission and maximizing privacy. Contains local models for scoring and features.

Configuration Updates

Receives configuration updates (active Protocols, Metrics definitions, Catalyst patterns) securely from the central Blankstate system via API.

Local Protocol Scoring

Processes interaction data locally against active Protocols using a self-supervised model, generating scores based on encoded labels/nuances without sending raw content.

Signal Transmission

Sends anonymized or aggregated signals/events (based on Protocol scores and Metric calculations) back to the central system for OEI calculation and state updates. Communicates indirectly with EVA via the backend.
