Using Blankstate
Permitted Use
You are granted a license to use the Blankstate platform for its intended purpose – managing your business services as described in our documentation.
Restrictions
You must not misuse the platform. This includes:
- Engaging in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
- Attempting to damage or impair the service.
- Sub-licensing or allowing unauthorized access.
- Modifying the platform beyond permitted configurations.
- Violating our Acceptable Use Policy (see full terms).
Your Data
Ownership & License
You retain ownership of the data you upload or provide ("Customer Data"). You grant us a non-exclusive license to use this data solely to operate the platform and provide services to you.
Your Responsibility
You warrant that your data (and our use of it to provide the service) does not violate any laws or infringe on third-party rights (like intellectual property or privacy).
Data Protection
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or corruption. We process personal data according to your instructions and applicable data protection laws.
Liability Limitations
Our Commitment
We warrant that we will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and strive to meet the uptime commitments outlined in our Service Level Agreement (see full terms).
Exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses (like lost profits or data corruption). Software is complex and may have bugs; we don't guarantee it will be entirely error-free or compatible with all third-party software. Our total liability is generally limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months. These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot be excluded by law (like death/injury due to negligence or fraud).
Termination
Ending the Agreement
Either you or Blankstate can terminate the agreement under certain conditions, such as a material breach of terms that isn't fixed, insolvency, or after the minimum term with proper notice (usually 30 days). We may also terminate if you fail to pay fees or if we discontinue the platform.
After Termination
Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases. We will generally delete your data from the platform within 90 days, unless required by law to retain it. Certain clauses (like confidentiality and liability limitations) survive termination.
