Safety
Ensuring data privacy, security, and responsible AI use in Blankstate.
Our Commitment to Safety
Safety is a foundational principle in the design and operation of the Blankstate ecosystem. We are committed to protecting user data, ensuring the security of our systems, and promoting the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies.
Our approach to safety encompasses data handling, system architecture, and the ethical considerations of AI, particularly within the context of Operational Excellence measurement.
Key Safety Measures
- Data Privacy (Phantom): A core design principle of Phantom (the Stream browser extension) is local processing. Raw user interaction data is analyzed against the active Blueprint's Protocols locally on the user's device using the IBF, without sending the raw content centrally. Only anonymized, aggregated metrics or specific, user-approved signals are transmitted.
- Secure Distribution: Blueprints and their constituent Protocols and Metrics are stored centrally in the Blueprint Store but are distributed to Phantom and backend services using secure, encrypted channels.
- Responsible AI Use: We strive to mitigate potential biases in our AI models (IBF, Consensus AI) and ensure they are used ethically and as intended for Operational Excellence measurement, not for surveillance or discriminatory purposes.
- Compliance: Blankstate is designed with relevant data protection and privacy regulations in mind. Our data handling practices and system architecture support compliance requirements. Refer to our Terms and Policies for more details.
- Access Control: Access to sensitive data, Blueprint management interfaces (blueprint.blankstate.ai), and the EVA Control Center is strictly controlled based on user roles and permissions.
